At Nu-in, we ensure we only use materials of the highest standards in sustainability and quality. Our team is constantly researching breakthrough innovations and processes to add to our collections.

OUR CURRENT MATERIALS

ORGANIC COTTON

A natural plant fibre that's grown organically without the use of pesticides.

RECYCLED COTTON

A repurposed plant fibre from production waste and old consumer waste.

RECYCLED POLYESTER

A material made from recycled plastic bottles and post consumer polyester produtcts.

ECOTEC COTTON

A recycled knitted material made from production yarn waste, used clothes and plastic bottles.

ECOVERO VISCOSE

A soft breathable natural fabric made from dissolved tree pulp. The production of the fabric produces no harmful byproducts and is non toxic.

RECYCLED POLYAMIDE

A material recycled from carpets, old fishing nets and manufacturing waste.

BANNED MATERIALS

Below is a list of materials we will never use:
- Conventional Cotton
- Conventional PU
- PVC
- Fur
- Leather, unless it is chrome free, vegetable tanned, ethical and traceable
- Animal fibers, unless recycled or certified
- Feathers, unless certain they are cruelty-free and are Responsible Down Standard certified
- Wood from endangered forests

TRIMS

While there are plenty of sustainable fabrics on offer these days, sustainable versions trims are less available. At Nu-in, we are committed to using the sustainable option when it is available and our team is continually sourcing and researching new innovations to help us move away from conventional styles. This includes plastic and metal in trims such as buttons, zippers and elastane.
