WHAT IS BUY FOR GOOD?
Buy For Good was originally set up as a radical approach to attack the issue of overstock. Rather than heavily discounting the product in a typical sales period - to try and drive up our sales and profits like most fashion companies - we wanted to do things differently.
Buy For Good is our way of making up for our mistakes. We give the best price possible on each garment and will donate 30% of the net sales to an organisation that combats social or environmental injustice.
We won’t make a single profit on any of these items.
Our mistakes can become the catalyst for a greater cause! Every six months, we will transparently donate the full amount from all ‘Buy For Good’ labelled products. So far we’ve raised over €25,000 with this project.
BUY FOR GOOD DAYS
Buy For Good is a nu-in initiative which raises money for charities fighting social and environmental injustice around the world.
On Black Friday (2020) we announced our first Buy For Good day. We decided to take the original Buy For Good concept and evolve it by labelling every item as Buy For Good, donating all profits from this day to a chosen charity and cause. We ended up raising a whopping €12,366.
We saw the amazing response and realised how powerful this community can be when coming together to support something meaningful. It inspired us to evolve Buy For Good into something much bigger than we ever anticipated… so we decided to have Buy For Good days every month. We don’t make any profit from these days.
The concept is simple. You get 15% off and we match that with a 15% donation to charity. We openly share all transactions as proof for the funds being donated on our instagram account.
Each month we announce a date, topic and charities we are raising funds for. Make sure you are following us on instagram and subscribed to our newsletter to stay up to date with our future Buy For Good days.
We want to say thank you for joining and helping us to escape the traditional unsustainable way of running a business. We never knew whether this would all work out and we are so excited to see what we can do together with the help from you!

Frequently Asked Questions
We do. We will publish an open and transparent report on how much we donated after the three months period has passed.
We value your opinion and accept that everyone may have different views on which charity partner is best. We chose this charity based on best knowledge and are convinced that we have chosen a cause for good. Charity is all about doing good and not perfect. We will change the charity organization every three months and would be happy if you check out our Buy For Good section in the future.
As much as we love this idea, the administration needed to carry this out is too much for a startup our size right now. We want to stay focussed and make meaningful donations, but hopefully if this grows we can look to add in more ideas like this.
We don’t make any money on Buy For Good products. We need to make a profit as a business to be sustainable, create jobs and spread our message which is why we can’t do this on all products. We are happy to use our mistakes for the benefit of a greater cause.
Good try, but we have just now decided to say goodbye to the product and we're sure you understand that we cannot do that retrospectively for all sold before.
No. Discounting is either embedded in the business model and pricing strategy of a company or discounts are given on occasions. They are a kind of drug used to entice consumers. We might reduce a price because we had the wrong price/value. But we never use that as an incentive and advertise it. For us it is correcting a mistake. If we can do something good with it, then it is a good mistake.
